LRP line editing services are exclusive or included in our copy-editing service tier. Line editing is the process of going line-by-line through your script to ensure the fluidity, structure, cadence, and pace of each sentence.
COPY EDITING
LRP copy-editing service includes reviewing grammar, syntax, spelling, punctuation, and other mechanics of style. I specialize in manuscripts in various genres, such as Religious, Romance, Sci-Fi, urban lit, Young Adult, and Children's.
PROOFREADING
Proofreading is the process of identifying and correcting errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation, and syntax in a document or manuscript. My proofreading services include checking proofs of formatted, edited material for adherence to design and minor mechanical errors in copy.

SYNOPSIS
A short summary of a book's plot or main points is often included on the back cover to entice readers to purchase the book.
INSIDE COVER
The first page inside the book cover usually contains minimal information, such as the title or author name and a short bio about the author.
BACK MATTER WRITING
The section at the end of a book that includes additional information, such as an author's note, bibliography, or appendix.
RESUME & COVER LETTER
A résumé or resume (or resumé) is a document created and used by a person to present their background, skills, and accomplishments.

What is the payment schedule you require?The deposit is expected the same day the manuscript is electronically sent to us through a Word document. The balance is to be paid when the final revisions (the clean version, after you have accepted all edits and feedback and added any additional work) are returned to you.

How do you handle payments—do you offer split payment options?We require a down payment of half the cost of editing your manuscript at the time of delivery. The deposit is expected the same day the manuscript is electronically sent to us through a Word document.

Do you offer refunds?Refunds are only offered if the work has not begun. If any editing has commenced, no refunds will be given.

What forms of payment do you accept?We accept CashApp, PayPal, Venmo, and wire transfer (Zelle).

What happens if I don’t finish my portion of the revisions in time?My return process allows writers two weeks to complete all revisions to ensure I remain on schedule with all scheduled projects. If your revisions are not completed in time, it may result in the completion date of your project getting pushed back and you accruing additional fees.

How long do I have to finalize and send the final manuscript?Once the contract has been signed, a delivery date will be established for the manuscript to be submitted in its entirety. Chapter by chapter will not be accepted.

What is an estimated timeframe for completing the editing process?The turnaround depends on the length of your manuscript. It is typically between three to four weeks. Short stories and works that don't need much editing have shorter turnarounds.

Is the sample edit payment refundable if my project is not accepted?No. Due to actual services being completed, the sample payment is not refundable.

Is the sample edit submission for all clients?No. Sample submissions are only required for new clients. Existing clients already have a client relationship and can submit their information through the existing client portal.
