Before We Work Together
Important things to know
Before we begin, there are a few key things to keep in mind to ensure a smooth and successful collaboration. This section outlines how we’ll work together, and what I’ll need from you to deliver the best possible results. A little clarity upfront goes a long way — let’s set the stage for polished, powerful writing.
01.
Know what type of service(s) you're looking for.
Editing and proofreading aren’t one-size-fits-all. Whether you need a light proofread for grammar and typos or a deeper edit for structure, tone, and clarity — having a clear idea of your needs helps me tailor the service to fit your goals.
02.
Please know your expectations so that everyone is on the same page.
Having a clear vision of what you need—whether it’s a final polish or in-depth feedback—helps us work efficiently and ensures we’re moving in the same direction from the start.
03.
Please be aware that I will not take unfinished/incomplete work.
To provide high-quality edits, I require a complete draft. Submitting unfinished work can lead to confusion and delays, so please ensure your document is ready for review before sending it over.
04.
Lack of commitment to your project hinders a smooth & seamless collaboration
Timely communication, meeting agreed-upon deadlines, and respect for the process all play a role in making our work together productive and enjoyable.
