New Client Submission Process

This process is only for new clients seeking an editor. Existing clients should submit their manuscripts below in the Editing & Proofreading section.

Each prospective client must submit two sample chapters for review. The editor will acknowledge receipt of the submission within 72 business hours via phone or email. After receiving the sample, the editor will review and provide a marked-up version along with a decision on whether to proceed within the same 72-business-hour timeframe.

If the sample is approved, the editor will follow up via phone or email to discuss the next steps. If both parties agree to move forward, a contract and invoice for services will be sent to the client. Once the contract is signed and the deposit is made, the final manuscript must be submitted by the project start date.

All documents should be formatted in Times New Roman, size 12, double-spaced, and submitted in MS Word format. Submissions should be uploaded to the submission

Writing Process

01

Once the contract is signed, a down payment is required to proceed.

02

Both the down payment and the document must be submitted on the same day. The document should be formatted according to the previously specified guidelines and sent to the editor by the agreed-upon date.

03

Within one week of receiving the document, the editor will create a draft and return it to the client for review, including notes for suggested changes.

04

After the client makes revisions, the document should be resubmitted to the editor within two business days for further refinements.

05

The client is allowed up to two drafts or revisions before additional fees apply.

Editing & Proofreading Process

Once you submit your work, we review it line by line—correcting grammar, tightening structure, and enhancing clarity without compromising your unique voice. You'll receive a clean, polished version plus detailed notes so you know exactly what changed and why.

CONTRACT
Before proceeding, the contract must be signed and submitted, along with the required down payment. Both the down payment and the contract must be received together. The final manuscript should be formatted according to the previously specified requirements.
DELIVERY
Once the final manuscript is submitted, the first round of editing will begin. The editor will review and return the document to the client for review and any necessary changes. The client must return the revised document to the editor within two calendar weeks.
EDITING

A second round of editing and re-reading will then be completed, ensuring all revisions are properly incorporated. The final, error-free document will be returned to the client by the contractual deadline.

REVISIONS

For each round of edits, the client has up to two calendar weeks to review and submit the document back to the editor. The editor will ensure the project is completed within the agreed-upon contractual deadline.

All edits will be included directly within the document for clarity and ease of review.
