How I Approach Editing

With this being the first quarter of 2026, I felt it was the perfect time to remind everyone how I edit. Your voice is yours. I don’t rewrite your personality — I refine your delivery.
If something feels unclear, overwritten, or disconnected, I will address it directly. Strong writing should immerse the reader without needing explanation outside the narrative. When additional clarification is required, it’s often a sign that the story needs tightening or restructuring.
My feedback is rooted in craft and reader experience. It is never personal — it’s purposeful. The most successful authors understand that thoughtful revision is part of the creative process.
If you’re ready to elevate your manuscript and embrace revision as refinement, we’ll work well together.
